Normally, I would not ask for people to read this because many times, I don’t read things like this, and I never thought I would have to do something like this. Don’t reblog if you don’t want, but I need to put this out there.

These two beautiful children are my cousins, Ashlyn on the right is four, and Peyton is on the left, he’s six. Peyton has severe scoliosis, I’m not really sure what kind but if you look in the picture you can see his whole back is bent like a question mark, and there is a hump on his back where his spine is convex. There is a possibility he could die.

His spine is compressing his lungs into his rib cage, and he has to have a day long surgery to realign his back. He needs to have surgery to straighten his back because his lungs could literally pop against his bones if they don’t do the surgery before his next birthday, this may. He will be in the hospital for at least six weeks after the surgery, staying in bed and not being able to move.

I’m not asking for prayers, because I know not everyone prays, including myself. All I’m asking for is for people to keep this baby in their thoughts and hopes once in a while. If anyone I don’t follow reblogs this, I will follow you back :]

I’m going to fucking cry. Scoliosis is such an awful disease. /:
